These 12 tracks show the full extent of Steve Lynch's 4-year journey. Firstly revisiting some old raw songs from the first incarnation of Burg and then through the progression into The Back Porch Band, A brief spell into semi-retirement to concentrate his efforts on his main outfit The Electric Shakes, set his acoustic guitar to one side, but his mind was always wandering and so the journey carried on. On through an emotional few years. Lockdown, illness, heartbreak and loss, elation, realization, love, the makings of a whole new set of songs, and the collaboration with a new set of musicians whilst reuniting with old friends. All this to conjure up a blend of musical vagrancy of the highest variety. You may find this bunch in the deepest darkest depths of Dorset and its neighbouring towns where they currently reside. Hollering about the effects of demon water and tales of oblivion and singing songs of hope for the hopeless.
Led by a lost island troubadour with his heart on his cuff.
